Who do you unblock this?

Websense pretty much blocks everything that isnt school related.

kind of gets on my nerves since most of my teachers dont even care that we get on sites like, myspace,you tube, stuff like that.

Is there a way so unblock Websense so that you can get on websites like that.

I guess temporary.....

I know you don't want to hear this, but you can't and you shouldn't even try because that is against the acceptable use policy at your school. They have sites blocked for a reason and trying to bypass their security will get you banned from using any of their their computers and probably even suspended or expelled. They track everything you do and you will get caught.

It doesn't matter what the teachers think - they don't make the school policies.

Do your schoolwork! You want to play on the internet, go home! They do this for 2 reasons! ! is to keep you from trouble, 2 is to keep you from infesting their network with that stupid crap you visit!

The Admins usually block for a Policy reason; If you do find a way around a site block, they can track it, and soon have that available. If the teachers really are okay about using sites that are currently blocked, the ideal way is to go through channels and ask for a site to be unblocked.

not only for the school computers protection, but blocking mostly unwanted sites is to protect the students from searching pornographic sites. to keep in touch with some of your stuffs in some site like myspace, youtube and the like, is out of the school compliance. you may check it thru internet caffes. so better be a good stude tho. lol
