Does anyone know how to unblock things like aim express or myspace at a school?

Your outta luck. If you're trying to access those sites and sites like Ebay from a public school, library, university or sometimes at work you won't have much luck. Network administrators dictate the software on the computers and web access as well. Its their effort to combat viruses, pornography and internet gambling on computers used by the public.

contact your network administrator and ask for the ports they keep open. Chances are they are blocked for a reason, and since you are using their network you have to abide by their rules. They block those sites because they use so much bandwidth, especially messaging programs becuase people leave them on all the time. It's not fair for people who are using the network to study and have to deal with a slow speed becuase there are 10,000 messaging programs eating up the speed.
